MEET THE TEACHER

In the autumn of 2019, Sara proudly opened the doors of Applewood Learning Tree, driven by her unwavering passion for positively impacting the growth and development of toddlers. She resides in Applewood with her loving husband, two boys aged 9 and 5, and their adorable little dog. When not at work, Sara cherishes spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a keen interest in interior design, crafting, and traveling, and loves camping, hiking, and paddle boarding in the summer while hitting the slopes with her family in the winter. With a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Sara has over 18 years of experience working with children. Her nurturing personality has led her to excel in various roles over the years, starting from a professional nanny to becoming a lead teacher at a childcare center, para educator (K-5), and providing care as a behavioral therapist for high-risk children.
